Ladysmith Yacht Club and the Thetis Island Marina are pleased to announce that the 16th Annual
Thetis Island Regatta will take place on the weekend of May 7-9, 2010

Once again there will be a race around both Thetis and Kuper Islands, followed by the famous barbeque.
This regatta is open to all classes of sailboats.
Schedule of events is as follows:
Friday, May 7. 1600-2000: Race registration and welcome
Saturday, May 8. 0730: Pancake Breakfast
0900: Pre-Race Briefing
1030 Race Start off Preedy Harbour
1730: Official Stop Time
1830-1930: Dinner Barbeque followed by live music, dancing etc till
midnight
1930: Awards/prize presentations
Sunday, May 9. 0900-1030: Breakfast + Departure
Last year was a light-air contest, but lots of fun, so be sure to attend this year and enjoy some great racing,
a super party, and tune up for the new sailing season!
The entry fee is $75 per boat.
The entry fee includes moorage for Friday and Saturday nights, and a barbeque dinner ticket for the
skipper.
Additional barbeque tickets are available at the registration desk for $15.00 each.
